Materials to prepare

• Connect your computer to the classroom screen and speakers. Check sound before children arrive. Internet is needed.
• Preview the activity and writing sheets. Print enough for your group, prepare word cards and an exit check, and keep the teacher guide nearby. Cut cards and print the matching spaces at the same scale.
• Prepare S, A and T letter cards, at/sat word cards and pencils. Use picture cards for sound hunting. Finger tracing can replace a sand tray.
• Keep the lesson slides ready if a video does not play. Read the English notes and model the action yourself.

Lesson flow · 45-minute guide

1. 0–4 min

   1. Hello Routine

   Introduce the story characters Adam and Jimin, then play Hello Song and model waving.

   Teaching notes

   Say

   Say hello to Adam and Jimin. Let's wave and sing.

   Look for

   Watch for children waving along with the song.

   If difficult

   Let children copy your wave without singing.

2. 4–9 min

   2. Sound Warm-up

   Model the sounds of S, A, and T one at a time, pausing for children to repeat each sound.

   Teaching notes

   Say

   Listen to each sound. Now make it with me.

   Look for

   Listen for children repeating the sound rather than the letter name.

   If difficult

   Repeat one sound slowly before moving to the next.

3. 9–14 min

   3. Bubble Theater

   Play the Origin School story or present the matching story slides.

   Teaching notes

   Say

   Let's watch our school story.

   Look for

   Watch for children following the story on the screen.

   If difficult

   Pause on one picture and briefly describe it.

4. 14–24 min

   4. Letter Discovery

   Pair the S sound with a snake motion, the A sound with an open mouth, and the T sound with a tap.

   Teaching notes

   Say

   Watch my mouth and hands. Make the sounds and moves with me.

   Look for

   Watch for children matching each sound to its movement.

   If difficult

   Model one sound and movement together before adding another.

5. 24–32 min

   5. Blending Bridge

   Join A-T to make at, then add S to make S-A-T and blend sat.

   Teaching notes

   Say

   Let's put the sounds together: at. Now add the first sound: sat.

   Look for

   Listen for children joining the sounds into a whole word.

   If difficult

   Blend at together before adding the first sound for sat.

6. 32–37 min

   6. Singing Bubble

   Play the S-A-T chant and model its pop and clap motions.

   Teaching notes

   Say

   Let's chant our sounds. Pop and clap with me.

   Look for

   Watch for children following the chant's movements.

   If difficult

   Let children follow one movement without chanting.

7. 37–43 min

   7. Worksheet

   Model tracing S, A, and T, matching at and sat, and coloring a bubble on the worksheet.

   Teaching notes

   Say

   Trace the letters and match at and sat. Then color the bubbles.

   Look for

   Watch for children following the letter outlines as they trace.

   If difficult

   Let children trace one letter with a finger before using a pencil.

8. 43–45 min

   8. Exit Ticket

   Show S, A, and T and make the sound of one letter.

   Teaching notes

   Say

   Listen to the sound. Point to the matching letter.

   Look for

   Watch for children pointing to the letter that matches the sound.

   If difficult

   Offer two letters and repeat the sound.

Story voices

The class screen shows each picture. Read both voices, pause, and invite the children to join in.
